Hard to put downTogether since childhood, Andrew and Josephine bicker and squabble。 They delight in their verbal sparring matches。 But Andrew isn't really family, nor is Josie stirring brotherly feelings in his chest。 Hard to put downTogether since childhood, Andrew and Josephine bicker and squabble。 They delight in their verbal sparring matches。 But Andrew isn't really family, nor is Josie stirring brotherly feelings in his chest。 。。。more

I have absolutely loved this series (and pretty much all the other books Sally has written)! They all leave you with a happy ending! The characters were so fun and their dialogue was just the best! He loves to tease Josie to no end! The witty banter between these two was off the charts amazing!🔥Josie is the eldest daughter of the Duke of Montfort。 She is beautiful, witty, fun and can put Andrew in his place which he loves! Cue that crooked mischevious smile of his and it got me every time!!! These two are quite the pair and you can feel the chemistry and romantic tension between them!😍⭐️This is a slow burn, enemies to lovers trope that was masterfully done!⭐️ This book is beautiful and descriptive。 The author paints beautiful pictures, stunning scenes and feelings with her words。⭐️Sally creates such a loving family with incredible characters that you can’t help but love。 You get a warm cozy feeling that feels like home。 Josie’s grandmother is one of my favorites!⭐️I really loved the history in this book。 It made the story come alive and feel more realistic。If you love witty banter, an amazing hero and heroine, family relationships, castles and a swoony, romantic, heart melting love story, you’ll adore this book! Seeing both of their figuring outs of their lives are equally interesting and sorryful, since they both have a sence of loneliness in their lives, Josephine in having lost her best friend Emma to marriage and has noone to share her closely kept secret with anymore, and Andrew because of the secret that he is not even ready to admit to himself, but is the real reason to him constantly teasing Josephine。 I loved the progressing of their letting down their guards and daring to show more of their real selves to each other so much and we find two very sweet and lovable persons so very worthy of the love the other has for them。 That we also get a little insight into some social difficulties of the time and how that effected the duke's family and get to meet some new people, that a little bird wispered in my ear we will see more of in the future, adds depth and even more interest to this book。 。。。more

Sir Andrew and the Authoress by Sally Britton- I was given an eARC prior to publication for an honest review。This was my first book by Sally Britton and after hearing so many good things, I am absolutely thrilled that it did not disappoint。 Britton's writing is full of wit and charm, and is so entertaining to read。 For being the third book in a series I was not at all confused, so it works perfectly as a standalone, however seeing couples that got together in previous books only encouraged me to Sir Andrew and the Authoress by Sally Britton- I was given an eARC prior to publication for an honest review。This was my first book by Sally Britton and after hearing so many good things, I am absolutely thrilled that it did not disappoint。 Britton's writing is full of wit and charm, and is so entertaining to read。 For being the third book in a series I was not at all confused, so it works perfectly as a standalone, however seeing couples that got together in previous books only encouraged me to go back and catch up with the series! Josephine was such an amazing heroine, and I loved her passion for writing and how she learned so much about herself along with falling in love。 Andrew was a wonderful hero as well and I loved his good-hearted nature and respect for Josie。 The chemistry between the two was incredible! Get ready for the best witty banter and friendship when reading this book。 They reminded me very much of Emma and Knightley from Jane Austen's Emma in the best way with their 'frenemies' type of relationship。 I highly recommend Sir Andrew and the Authoress for a fast paced and fun Regency romance。 。。。more

This lovely, light hearted historical romance with two childhood enemies finding love was just what I needed! Josephine and Andrew have constantly been at each other since the time they were small。 Andrew always knew the right buttons to push。 Whether this was calling Josephine by her informal name of Josie, or teasing her, she avoided him as much as possible。 Andrew had his work cut out for him as he had to prove that now he was older he had changed and that he loved her。 The part of the book t This lovely, light hearted historical romance with two childhood enemies finding love was just what I needed! The historical aspect was well written, showing the political discontent that served as the catalyst for the family going to their country estate of Clairvoir Castle。 Ms。 Britton’s descriptions of both Josie’s family castle and Andrew’s smaller castle made me feel like I was there with them。 It would have been fun to explore both castles and grounds as a guest。 I recommend reading this book if you or a friend enjoy clean and wholesome romance stories。 I was given a copy of this book with no obligation to write a positive review。 All opinions are my own。 。。。more

Sir Andrew and the Authoress is the perfect book to curl up with on a rainy day。 In no time at all you will be whisked away to Regency England and find yourself in the Clairvoir castle。 There you will give nary a thought to the dreary reality out your window and the verbal sparring between our two protagonists will cheer up even the gloomiest of days。The dialogue often had me chuckling out loud and likely caused others in my presence to question the sanity of a woman laughing at her book。 Oh wel Sir Andrew and the Authoress is the perfect book to curl up with on a rainy day。 In no time at all you will be whisked away to Regency England and find yourself in the Clairvoir castle。 There you will give nary a thought to the dreary reality out your window and the verbal sparring between our two protagonists will cheer up even the gloomiest of days。The dialogue often had me chuckling out loud and likely caused others in my presence to question the sanity of a woman laughing at her book。 Oh well。 If they had also had the pleasure of reading this book, they wouldn’t have been able to prevent an audible chuckle at several scenes throughout! Before reading Sir Andrew and the Authoress I never would have believed that pens could rival roses as a romantic gift。 Now I’m a firm believer that flowers and chocolates should be ditched in favor of writing supplies because, after all, isn’t that what our bookish hearts desire? No? Perhaps it’s just me。Nevertheless, the third installment in Sally Britton’s Clairvoir Castle Romances Series promises to simultaneously enchant readers and leave them grinning at the witty encounters within its pages。 。。。more

I LOVED the interactions between Andrew and Josie in the last book and couldn’t wait to see their continuing banter… and the realization that they both were falling in love with each other。 Our main characters shared so many sweet moments together。 And the gradual revealing of their true feelings was great。 I love when characters have been friends for years and then suddenly something shifts… it hits them and BAM! I LOVED when Andrew brings Josie to his home and observes her there and immediately knew that she was 100% the one and that he would peruse a relationship。 I was shocked and so excited that he came right out with it after he gave her the pen!!! Definitely one of my favorite scenes! They made such a great couple。 I think some of my favorite parts of the book were with the Dowager Duchess and all of her hidden remarks and meanings! She was completely for this relationship and could read both Andrew and Josie perfectly。 She was awesome。 This story was an absolute win for me! And I’m looking forward even more to future stories and series in the making connected to this world! (STERLING!!!! YES PLEASE。) I received an advanced copy of this book。 I was not required to give a positive review。 All thoughts and opinions are my own 。。。more

This book was an absolute delight。 My friends know that I love all of Sally’s books, but this one might be my new favorite of hers!! Sir Andrew was so much fun and he and Lady Josephine’s banter got me laughing out loud on several occasions。 :) I usually enjoy romances where our main couple meets on page more than ones where they have known each other a long time, but Andrew and Josephine’s relationship and understanding of each other was a perfect “slow-burn” and I loved seeing them evolve。 Lov This book was an absolute delight。 My friends know that I love all of Sally’s books, but this one might be my new favorite of hers!!
